Experience Magazine speaks with Steven Segedinski, Riviera’s parts and accessories manager, to discover the real benefit of selecting Genuine Riviera Parts, and why an owner should never settle for second best. Plus, we find out about the most popular parts owners look for when preparing for the boating season.
When replacing or upgrading a part, an owner’s first port of call should be Riviera’s Genuine Parts and Accessories. With more than 500 different parts available, an owner will find what they need – and when they do, they will be confident the part has been manufactured to the highest standard from quality materials.
Steven Segedinski says owners can be 100% confident when they invest in Riviera Genuine Parts and Accessories, plus it’s nice to look the part!
Whether seeking safety equipment or barbecue gear, fans or fenders, or anything in-between, Riviera’s online store is a valuable resource for motor yacht owners. From the comfort of their home or motor yacht, owners can peruse the wide selection of genuine parts, reviewing detailed descriptions, photos, specifications, prices, and installation drawings where relevant.
This easy-to-access online information is available to complement the outstanding personal customer service for which Riviera is also known. Steven and his crew encourage owners to call and discuss their needs.
“We’re a one-stop-shop and can save an owner so much time looking around when they could be spending that time enjoying their Riviera”.

“We offer a personalised service, and it is very helpful to have a chat to make sure an owner is ordering the precise part for their Riviera,” says Steven. “We know exactly which parts have been configured for a specific motor yacht and this gives an owner the peace-of-mind of knowing that the part is going to fit correctly and be fit for purpose. It’s hard to look past the convenience of our offering: we’re a one-stop-shop and can save an owner so much time looking around when they could be spending that time enjoying their Riviera.”
With a genuine Riviera part, an owner can rest assured they’re getting the best possible component for their luxury motor yacht.
“We also service classic model Rivieras, so it can be good to talk through what the most suitable replacement part will be for an original part that may have become obsolete. We can offer, if not the exact replacement part, the closest replacement suitable.”
Some of the more popular items from the store include mooring lines, fenders and fender covers.
“More motor yachts are leaving the factory with a painted hull and the best way to protect this is with extra covered fenders,” says Steven. “Riviera owners trust that we offer premium quality goods. Our fenders are high-quality and with a cover they provide that extra protection to prevent the paint or hull getting scratched or damaged.”
Preparing for the boating season
Steven says spring traditionally marks the time to dust off the captain’s cap and prepare your motor yacht ready for the boating season.
“There’s a high demand for parts that are typically replaced annually, such as water filters, holding-tank filters, duck-bill valves for bathroom systems and anodes that protect a yacht from corrosion. It’s spring-cleaning time. People also order teak and deck wash products, insert trims to tidy up appearances, Strataglass cleaner, seals for fridges, new bait boxes, inserts for fishing rod holders and Riviera baseball caps – although that last one is just to look good!”
Indeed, not all genuine parts are wholly for practical purposes, and with respect to looking good, Steven says the LED backlit Riviera signs are definitely on trend.
“The stainless-steel blue backlit ‘R’ signs are very popular. Owners are also choosing more underwater lights. Like the backlit Riviera logos, they look great and potentially have the added benefit of attracting fish at night, for the really keen anglers.”
For those owners unsure what their motor yacht might require, Steven recommends calling the team to discuss.
“We’re here to be of service. It’s great when an owner calls to discuss their needs and we can put them on the right track so that they can get back to the business of enjoying their beautiful motor yacht.”
