“We have proudly exhibited at Fort Lauderdale for more than 30 years,” said Riviera owner Rodney Longhurst in his address at the VIP event.
“There are over 3,000 Riviera yachts in the Americas and I wanted to share with you tonight that we are more committed to America than ever. We are placing more resources and more investment here than ever before and we are expanding our team to deliver the next level of owner care. We are totally committed to you and we are very appreciative of your love for Riviera.”

Fort Lauderdale 2025 was one of Riviera’s largest Americas showcases with 13 luxurious motor yachts on display, including multiple Americas Premieres.
Riviera 4600 Sport Yacht owner David Meadors attended the event with his wife Christine.
“It was a five-star event,” he said. “I thought ‘how are they going to do an event on the dock?’ But they did and the food and entertainment were excellent.”
The 2025 display also played host to the exclusive Riviera owners’ Festival of Boating across four days aboard a Riviera yacht and in a dedicated training hub, all based at the show.
Riviera owners were offered a program of 33 on-water introductory and advanced boating education and training workshops, each created to deepen owners’ understanding and confidence in their yachts. The 2025 program included a men’s and ladies’ skipper program, navigation, weather, offshore seamanship, radar, power management, maintenance, entertainment systems operation and more.

Mr Longhurst said the training “was designed to enhance knowledge and confidence to make boating even safer and easier, thereby inspiring Riviera owners and their families to enjoy their ultimate boating experience.”
Riviera 6000 Sport Yacht owner Paul Guaracino was impressed with the entertainment systems masterclass.
“We were given a great presentation that I have been able to utilise aboard my yacht,” he said. “The onboard control iPad is fantastic as it allows me to manage multiple music and electronics from various locations on the boat.”
Al and Terri Fansler own a Riviera 505 SUV and Al was almost overwhelmed by the amount of valuable information available in the classes.
“I learned a lot about the anchoring system aboard our yacht,” he said. “I also took a class on sonar and radar and its smart modes. I can’t wait to start utilising this better on our boat.”
Al’s wife Terri was determined to learn more about controlling their yacht, so she took a ladies’ skipper course.
“Now I feel more confident to take control of our yacht, which is something I have not done before” she said.

Andrea Yeiser owns a Riviera 50 Sports Motor Yacht and is a very accomplished skipper.
“There were key takeaways from every one of the classes that I took,” she said. “I was very impressed with the instructors, and especially the fact Riviera used their own team experts and drew external trainers where required.”
Neil and Melanie Boyce own a Riviera 50 Sports Motor Yacht and Neil said they had been particularly impressed with the Volvo Penta system masterclass.
“We learned how to use Dock-Assist,” he said. “That was something I wasn’t utilising. I will certainly take advantage of that capability from now on.”
