Rottnest Island is truly one of Western Australia’s holiday gems.

And Scott Luke managed to snap some of its beauty in this winning photo captioned “That water!” which was taken during a recent visit to Longreach Bay, one of Rottnest’s most popular family beach destinations.

The waters of Longreach Bay are a great place to spot stingray, who laze above the seabed. 

Rottnest Island is a marine sanctuary, located 12 nautical miles off the coast from Fremantle.  Visitors can spot the world-famous quokka, enjoy long bike rides around the island, or do some whale watching between September and December.
