Congratulations to this month’s Riviera Owners’ Photo and Video Competition winners, Travis and Leah Holt, for their spectacular snapshot taken in the rugged north-west of the United States.
The adventurous Hawaii-based owners of The Luff Boat, a Riviera 545 SUV, enjoy spending their summer heading out from Seattle to the coastal wilderness as far north as Alaska. Their inspiring story is featured in this edition of Experience magazine.
Thanks for all of the entries received in this month’s competition that demonstrate why life is always better with Riviera.
Whether you are boating in the Mediterranean, the South Pacific or your favourite anchorage closer to home, we all appreciate it when you share the experience with the Riviera family.

Heading North is this month’s winning entry submitted by Travis and Leah Holt. The heart-warming photo shows that the boating adventures the couple enjoy aboard their Riviera 545 SUV, The Luff Boat, every summer include every member of their family.
This magical Gold Coast sunset marked the beginning of an exciting journey south along the Australian east coast for Marbella, a 5800 Sport Yacht. Thanks to Linda Thomas for this entry which is titled Sunrise Dreams. “We took the shot at The Boat Works on the Coomera River on the day we were leaving to bring her down to Lake Macquarie,” says Linda.
In this photo, the Spall family and their friends are making the most of a Kiwi summer at Tauranga Harbour on New Zealand’s east coast south of Auckland. Thanks to Hamish Spall for his entry titled Summer Lovin’ and featuring their Riviera 37 Open Flybridge, Kilway. “It was our first summer in the Riviera family – a stunning summer day spent with great friends, drinking, swimming and Riv’n the dream!” says Hamish.
A touch of the ‘high life’ for this new Riviera 43 Open Flybridge is how Daniel Brauman describes this picture-perfect view of Just Once More. The photo was shot at Refuge Cove on Victoria’s Wilsons Promontory. “This was taken on our way home from the Gold Coast after we had our tuna tower put on the boat by Black Marlin Towers,” says Daniel. “It was a second-hand tower from a Riviera 48 that the team refitted to our 43.”
A picture is worth a thousand words for Gary Tim, whose entry is simply titled Happy Easter. There’s no mistaking the enjoyment being had aboard GRAYZONE, a Riviera 36, at North Freemantle in Western Australia.
Dazzling Dusk is the title of this stunning photo featuring a cascade of fiery hues in the evening sky at Chain Valley Bay on Lake Macquarie in New South Wales. Thanks to Brooke Hall for this entry, which was taken aboard Black Pearl, the family’s beloved Riviera 3300 Flybridge, as they settled in for the evening. “The dazzling sky shifted colours from tangerine to turquoise as the sun gently set,” says Brooke.
