Every week craftspeople at Riviera’s Gold Coast headquarters put the finishing touches to luxury motor yachts before they are shipped to their new home ports around the world.
Malaga has reinvented itself since COVID 19 and is once again a booming Spanish city.
The Riviera 505 SUV is sure to turn heads when it arrives in the Andalusian city of Malaga on the shores of the Mediterranean.
The luxury SUV motor yacht is one of many that left Riviera’s headquarters at Coomera on Australia’s Gold Coast recently to be delivered to new owners in ports dotted all around the world.
Malaga, the birthplace of artist Pablo Picasso, boasts 16 beautiful beaches and has somewhat reinvented itself since COVID 19 changed the world a few years back.
Visitors to this Spanish city will still find the same familiar twisting-turning streets of the old town; the tapas bars and ancient churches; the stunning art galleries and crystal-clear seas. But they will also discover fresh new things like the Museo Automovilistico y de la Moda and its funky couture and cars.
Noted for its long hot Summers, and 300 days of annual sunshine, Malaga sounds like the perfect home for the Riviera 505 SUV, which will be commissioned by Yachting Spain.
The sleek, luxurious single-level living provided on the 4600 Sport Yacht is well and truly suited to its new home cruising around Finger Lakes.
Finger Lakes, located directly south of Lake Ontario in New York State, is made up of a group of 11 long and narrow north-south lakes. The rolling hills around Finger Lakes produce some of the world’s best Rieslings and more than 23,000 square kilometres of surrounding land is dotted with charming villages and historic towns.
The area, which would take months or even years to explore properly, is home to wood ducks, scarlet tanagers, and pileated woodpeckers, as well as steep and dramatic waterfalls. It’s well worth a visit.

Less than 645 kilometres away in Michigan, another of our adventurous Rivieras – a 585 SUV – will be delivered to Onekama, located on the northeast shore of Portage Lake. Surrounded by fresh water, sand and national forest, Onekama has plenty of fantastic fishing spots, some great restaurants located on its shores, and is an epic spot for a myriad of water sports.
From here, our exceptional team at Onekama Marine, say it is possible to take day trips to South Haven and Chicago to the south, Bay Harbor and Mackinac to the north, or Door County to the west.
One of our Riviera 585 SUVs – known for its expansive, single-level and alfresco entertaining decks – is headed towards busy Seattle, a city that is literally surrounded by water.
For lucky locals (and reportedly 700,000 of them own boats), boating is a way of life. Emerald Pacific Yachts, our representative in Seattle, say that yachting in the Pacific Northwest is unlike boating anywhere else in the world. Some of the key spots to explore include Lake Union, Puget Sound, Lake Sammamish and Lake Washington, a ribbon lake that is fed by the Sammamish and Cedar rivers.

The Riviera 645 SUV that is headed to San Diego will be able to make good use of its large water sports and fishing cockpit as it cruises around California’s diverse coastline.
To be commissioned by Sun Country Coastal San Diego, the yacht’s twin shaft drive MAN turbo diesel engines will ensure that this craft can easily access the best that the region has to offer. With more than its fair share of sunshine, gorgeous beaches and fabulous restaurants, San Diego delivers its own special brand of laid-back fun.
A further five yachts are now headed to our dealer representatives in Canada and the US including Freedom Marine in Vancouver who will take delivery of a 465 SUV; the OneWater Yacht Group will receive a 46 SMY and a 4600 SY; Sun Country Yachts in Newport Beach California a 505 SUV; and Emerald Pacific Yachts in Seattle a 465 SUV.
