Riviera, Australia’s favourite and most awarded luxury boat builder will showcase a selection of its finest models across its Flybridge, Sport Yacht and SUV Collections at the 2014 Sanctuary Cove International Boat Show.
Riviera’s classic Flybridge Collection is highly regarded internationally for its combination of luxury and strength and its seagoing capabilities of a true blue water cruiser. This award-winning range of Flybridges offers models from 43 to 75 feet in open and enclosed flybridges that deliver the ultimate boating experience. From the flybridge line-up, Riviera will exhibit the new 63 Enclosed Flybridge.
The 63 Enclosed Flybridge is a luxurious and highly capable long-range offshore curiser and sport fisher with many popular design cues taken from the fleet’s prestigious flagship, Riviera 75.
The new 63 offers a flexible accommodation plan with the option of selecting the three-cabin/three head layout or the four-cabin/three head layout, allowing owners to customise their boat to suit their boating needs.
The luxuriously appointed midships master stateroom features a large hull window and opening port light creating an inviting haven capturing a large volume of light and fresh air.
The 63 is available in both enclosed and open flybridge design. The enclosed option features a forward helm, aft docking station, luxuriously appointed lounge and wet bar. The open flybridge option features a concealed aft helm with the dash rising and lowering on electric rams to protect and safeguard electronic componentry. The open flybridge also features a U-shaped lounge around a convertible table with a settee opposite, thus providing plenty of room for relaxing with friends and great visibility for the skipper.
The popular Sport Yacht Collection features an alfresco lifestyle, single level living design, luxurious interior fittings and furnishing make these boats ideal for a family day out on the water or an extended coastal cruise. In just a few short years, the Riviera Sport Yachts have won a series of major boating industry awards and the growing range has four distinct models from 36 to 58 feet. Riviera will showcase the 5800 Sport Yacht, one of the most popular models in its class with 35 boats built and launched to date, at this year’s Sanctuary Cove Boat Show.
The 5800 Sport Yacht takes luxury boating to a new level with a four-cabin, three bathroom layout (plus an optional crew cabin) including full beam master stateroom with midships king size double bed, the option of a galley aft in the saloon or below decks, an expansive cockpit with large dining table and a garage that can accommodate a 3.2-metre tender.
Continuing Riviera’s commitment to innovation, the 5800SY design further expands the indoor-outdoor character and sense of light and space introduced on the first award-winning Riviera 3600 SY and carried on to the 4400 SY and 5000 SY. The greater volume has allowed designers to take both exterior lines and internal design to a new level of sophistication. Fixed and opening portlights in the hull are a striking feature that add natural light and ventilation into the full beam master suite. The 5800 SY is designed for comfort, whether overnighting in a sheltered bay or on a long-distance coastal cruise.
The SUV Collection is the latest creation from Riviera, combining the high performance, blue water cruising of the classic Flybridge and the single-level leisurely entertaining features of the popular Sport Yacht series to create a vessel like no other, a true bridge between them both. This new model series now offers three models, the 445, which will be on show at Sanctuary Cove and the 565 and the new 515 SUV.
The new 445 SUV bears Riviera’s classic hallmark design and has been crafted with Riviera’s rich-heritage in mind. The combination of Riviera’s proven boatbuilding DNA; purposeful lines, hefty scantlings, the solid feel in a seaway, spacious layout our Euro style luxurious décor. And of course, a full no-nonsense Flybridge-scale cockpit.
This two stateroom, two bathroom SUV offers a spacious accommodation plan with fixed-hull windows to the master stateroom and is perfect for a family of five with three single berths in the guest stateroom. The spacious saloon and aft galley make this the ideal entertainer, while the superior strength of the hand laid hull and twin economical Volvo IPS engines with joystick control for close quarters docking makes this a high performance compact SUV. Launched in 2012, already 19 445 SUV’s have been delivered to Riviera owners in Australia and around the world.
