The World Premiere of the Belize 55 Daybridge was held at the show.
Each year, the show hosts the Newport for New Products Awards. The organisers said the awards recognise “standout new boats and marine products making their debut at the show. The winners were selected for their innovation, design, technology and value.”
The editor-in-chief of Power & Motoryacht magazine, Dan Harding, said of the new Belize: “Smart layout, with the build quality the brand is known for, the Belize 55 was simply a star of the show.”
Riviera’s Belize Motor Yacht Specialist, Doug Nelson, is the supervisor of each Belize yacht’s construction. He said the new yacht was developed after carefully listening to the needs of Belize motor yacht owners.
“This new yacht is available as a Sedan or Daybridge model and offers significant internal space with sophisticated ergonomics,” he said.
“The Belize 55 is a contemporary interpretation of timeless design and exceptional craftsmanship, superbly merged with smart technology and modern performance.”
Offering bespoke luxury using masterful design, each Belize is highly individual, and owners can personalise their yacht with a wide range of premium fabrics and finishes, exotic timbers and handcrafted cabinetry.
“Smart layout, with the build quality the brand is known for, the Belize 55 was simply a star of the show.“

Versatile entertainer
The Belize 55 provides fabulous spaces for relaxing and entertaining on the aft deck with rear lounge, a hi-low table and bar area with two swing-out stools facing the galley. Courtesy of wide decks, access to the foredeck and its very generous sunpad is so easy. The Daybridge model offers an additional lounge and dining space with 360-degree views on the bridge deck.
Inside the saloon, the impressive portside galley is equipped with a suite of premium appliances while, to starboard, a plush L-shaped lounge surrounds a folding timber table for relaxed entertaining and dining.
The lower helm of the Belize 55 includes an impressive array of instruments and multifunction touchscreens. Joystick controls give the captain fingertip control over low-speed manoeuvring. One joystick is located at the lower helm and one portside on the aft deck while the Daybridge model includes an additional joystick at the upper helm.
On the Daybridge model, wide, deep teak treads lead up a curved staircase to an L-shaped lounge with a folding timber table, and the forward upper helm duplicates the functionality of the lower helm.
At anchor, the forward deck offers an expansive sunbed with a fold-up bimini and a fold-out teak table.
“The Belize 55 is a contemporary interpretation of timeless design and exceptional craftsmanship, superbly merged with smart technology and modern performance.“
