64 SMY, 58 SMY and two 72 SMY sitting quietly in the bay. After leaving New Zealand early in June, they have all stuck with each other on their journey to Vava’u. Savusavu, Fiji is their next destination.

Purchased her in June 2025, she was a loved family boat, but we now we had the task to turn her into a competitive game fishing boat. I took this image of my husband hosing her down after bringing her home for the first time. He was so proud and excited, and he couldn’t wait to tackle the makeover he had planned.

While the winds blew a south-westerly constant 25 knots, we are enjoying an Abrolhos adventure in Whales Bay tucked up alongside Newbold Island’s jetty with a magnificent show of fish, turtles, fishing and a seal or two coming alongside for a chat.
