This year was the first time in almost three years that I was able to attend the Fort Lauderdale Boat Show as international travel begins to normalise. For me, this was a timely opportunity to meet and thank our owners, our Riviera Americas team and dealership representatives for their outstanding dedication and support.
Whilst international travel is slowly returning, the longer-term impacts from COVID and the conflict in Europe have combined to provide new challenges for us. Supply chain disruption of components and materials combined with the global shipping difficulties have all considerably impacted production, beyond our control.
Fortunately, over the course of the last 10 years we have made significant investments in the ongoing development of our team, our facility, production processes and new technology that combined are helping us to reduce these delays.
Our team is continuing to expand, our apprenticeship and training programs are also growing. We have made significant investment in construction and expansion of new and existing facilities including a new state-of-the-art lamination centre. We have enlarged our new model development centre, raised, and renewed the entire roof structure of our stage 1 and 2 fit out factories as well as creating new warehouse, painting, and shipping facilities. Our technology and advanced hardware have also been expanded with our resin infusion program growing across our production lines whilst our CNC and laser cutting capacity has been increased to 11 machines on-site.
All these productive works and investment are focused entirely on our capacities to improve efficiency. With the extraordinary global supply chain challenges we are facing, I sincerely thank our owners for their understanding and patience and I thank our entire team for their commitment to our owners as we all work diligently to create and deliver our Riviera luxury motor yachts.
