2015 - RIVIERA 77 ENCLOSED FLYBRIDGE
As a truly international model, it was fitting that the Riviera 77 Enclosed Flybridge was officially launched at the Dubai International Boat Show.
An innovation not seen on previous Riviera flybridge motor yachts was a taste of the future – a foredeck entertaining space with a lounge around a low timber table and, forward, twin sun pads.
Measuring a little more than 81 feet in length overall, she offered four staterooms, each with an en-suite bathroom, a lounge and separate dining space, a massive flybridge that could accommodate all guests on in style and comfort and she had the power to reach well over 30 knots.
The 77 was designed for long-distance cruising in extraordinary comfort, from the large cockpit and open mezzanine dining space to the saloon with its large leather lounge, dining space for eight and massive U-shape galley.
The flybridge offered helm and companion seats forward with a large lounge and wet bar aft. A second comprehensive helm on the flybridge aft deck made docking or fishing easy.
Befitting her semi-custom status, owners were offered a range of optional layouts on the accommodation deck. The standard was a full-beam master suite amidships including a king-size bed, hull windows, his-and-her wardrobes, lounge seating and en-suite bathroom. The VIP guest stateroom with queen double and en-suite bathroom was forward. A third double stateroom was on the starboard side immediately aft of the VIP and a three-berth cabin was on the port side, each with en-suite bathrooms.
Ocean magazine’s reviewer stated, “she boasts all the comforts of a world-class luxury resort”.
Club Marine wrote “the big cruiser’s stylish lines create a stunning visual effect” and concluded that she is “a genuine and practical boat that is designed as a thoroughbred seagoing vessel”.
