2007 - RIVIERA 41 OPEN FLYBRIDGE

When the Riviera the 41 Open Flybridge was launched in 2007, she had large shoes to fill. She replaced the 40, the biggest-selling boat Riviera has ever built.

The design team retained much of the styling of the 40 and added a range of improvements – larger flybridge, hull tunnels to reduce shaft angle, underwater exhausts, a fully moulded liner in the engine room, a second bathroom and improved interior styling.

In the saloon, the dinette is on a raised platform to provide additional height for the twin-berth cabin below, a large L-shape lounge was opposite, and the galley was forward, just one step down.

Pacific Motor Yacht commented on the saloon: “the entire cabin appears much more spacious; is bright and airy, and there is far more contemporary flair”.

Trade-A-Boat stated: “on the water the boat feels lively and sporty”.

She appeared on the front cover of 30/30 and Trade-A-Boat magazines.

Standard power was provided by a pair of Caterpillar C7 turbo diesel engines rated to 460hp each. In her final year of production, Volvo Penta IPS propulsion was also offered.

Riviera produced 51 of the Riviera 41 models over three years in production.
