2014 - RIVIERA 515 SUV
The third model in the SUV collection, the 515 offered “a terrific fit for a huge cross-section of the worldwide boating public” as Trade-A-Boat’s reviewer observed.
From cockpit to accommodation deck, she was designed to offer a flexible lifestyle.
The cockpit included a lounge in the port fore quarter, ideal for al fresco dining. A barbecue was built into the transom and a wet bar at the starboard fore quarter kept the drinks cold. A large awning window and sliding glass door connected the cockpit seamlessly with the interior with its fully-equipped aft galley, including an induction cooktop, convection microwave oven, under-bench fridges and dishwasher.
Forward the saloon included a dining area on the port side with U-shape lounge seating and a large separate facing lounge on the starboard side. The helm, with skipper and companion chairs, were positioned forward of the dining area on the port side.
The accommodation deck provided two generous staterooms and a third cabin with twin single beds and two bathrooms. The owner could choose which of the staterooms should be the master – amidships on the port side with a large hull window or the forward stateroom.
Power & Motoryacht in the US stated she was “perfect for owners who love to cruise in high style and great comfort but still want to fish along the way”.
Club Marine felt she was “very European in appeal with nothing compromised for space”.
The Riviera 515 SUV was powered by Cummins turbo diesel engines rated to 600 hp connected to Zeus pod drives with options for Volvo Penta turbo diesels rated to 625 or 725 hp connected to IPS pod drives.
Eight of these motor yachts were built over two years in production before she was replaced by the 525 SUV.
