2012 - RIVIERA 75 ENCLOSED FLYBRIDGE
Power & MotorYacht magazine’s writer referred to the Riviera 75 Enclosed Flybridge as a “little ship” throughout his review.
This was hardly surprising as the 54,500kg flagship was nearly 25 metres long and stood 5.8 metres above the waterline.
She offered the owner four-cabin accommodation, each with en-suite bathroom, a saloon with a dining “room” as well as lounge area and large U-shape galley – either fore or aft – a mezzanine deck with a dining area for six, a cockpit large enough for a party or a fishing crew and a massive flybridge space that was the equal of the total interior of a mid-size cruiser.
Ocean magazine described her as “a sophisticated small ship that has been built to world standards”.
Boating New Zealand stated that she was “the ultimate expression of a luxury sportfisher”.
Trade-A-Boat said: “Those yet to experience the jaw-dropping opulence of a full-beam master cabin, the 75 presents one of the finest examples on offer”.
The reviewer went on to state “Riviera has blurred the lines between the liveaboard boat capable of extended cruising and a serious expedition vessel”.
She was reviewed in publications in the United States, New Zealand and Australia and featured on the front cover of Boating New Zealand.
She was powered by standard twin Caterpillar C32 Acert turbo diesel engines each capable of 1,572 hp.
