1987 - RIVIERA 35 OPEN FLYBRIDGE
The 35 was a close relation to the already successful 38 Mark II with just as much amenity; two cabins, a well-equipped galley and comfortable dinette, giving away very little to her larger sister.
Australian Boating magazine described her as “an ideal size for a family to handle, economical to run and an exceptionally good investment”.
The reviewer stated: “The feeling throughout the lower areas is one of spaciousness, warmth and welcome”.
“It’s a very easy boat to drive . . . and excellent vision all around the craft”.
She was powered by twin shaft drive Cummins (210 or 300 hp) or Volvo (200 hp) diesel engines.
Riviera built 126 of the popular 35s over six years, including 62 in 1989 alone, more than any other Riviera model in one year before or since .
