Chris McCafferty began his marine career in the waterskiing industry, representing the UK at international level and winning numerous national championships before opening his own waterskiing club, which he successfully managed for 10 years. In 2000 he opened his own boat dealership with his father, and together they represented Tige Boats throughout Europe, winning esteemed international sales awards. In 2002 he joined Tige’s production team in Texas where he learnt how to build boats and was quickly appointed Quality Control Manager and then National Sales Manager, a position he held from 2002-2005, when he joined Riviera as National Sales Manager for the Americas.
By 2009, Chris was promoted to Director of Riviera Yachts, heading up the Americas team, and this role quickly grew to include Europe, Asia and the Middle East (EAME). In 2012 Chris was formally appointed International Sales Director, responsible for Riviera’s growing global operations. Based at Riviera’s Americas headquarters in Stuart, Florida, Chris is the first point of contact and support for Riviera’s expanding global dealer network, which spans some 60 countries.
