The internal Brand and Communications department of Riviera is responsible for creating all brand assets from advertising to brochures to online and direct communications, public relations as well as displays at major boat shows. The department is also very active in supporting our dealer network with local campaigns and dealership presentation initiatives.

In-house, Riviera has a busy and committed team managing the studio, web, production management, events and the PR aspects of our brand. In essence, it’s a fully-fledged in-house agency.

To help bring these disciplines together successfully and manage a considerable and diverse number of projects, we are looking for bright, highly energetic Marketing and Events Coordinator. We need someone who can juggle many tasks and projects at the same time whilst remaining cool, calm and detail focused. Someone who is passionate about what they do and loves learning and getting things done, to a deadline.

Just because we build luxury motor yachts, doesn’t mean that a job in the marketing department at Riviera is a cruise – its high energy, five days a week, 52 weeks a year. This is not a 9 to 5 job.

The role of Marketing and Events Coordinator involves supporting our busy Brand and Communications Department. It’s a big job entailing the maintenance of the department’s internal systems and the creation and monitoring of media schedules and marketing plans. You will also have a hand in our active social media platforms, assist and co-ordinate all marketing related projects and work with our team to produce marketing communications and exhibition-related materials. A challenging and rewarding aspect of the role is assisting with key local and international events.

Key personal attributes for us is someone with broad shoulders who is prepared to roll-up their sleeves and tackle diverse projects in a methodical, considered and detailed manner. Someone who doesn’t take “no” for an answer and someone who can persist when others find the going a little tough. Exceptional written and oral communications skills are mandatory as is a positive attitude. If your glass is half empty – this is not the job for you.

Most importantly of all, you will be self-motivated and be passionate about brand integrity. Of course, a knowledge and genuine love of the boating lifestyle is mandatory.

This is a full-time position with an immediate start for the successful candidate. Remuneration will be based on experience and ability.
