- Experience in the Marine Industry, desirable
- Strong knowledge of the Lamination process (Fibreglass), desirable
- Experience in panel beating, woodworking, carpentry, joinery, model making, spray painting, surfaces finishes or casting pattern making
- Self-motivated, with a positive attitude and pride in workmanship
- Strong eye for detail, accuracy and quality
- Work individually and in a team, to tight deadlines
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- Over-Head Crane (Desirable)
- Driver’s Licence
- Forklift Licence (Desirable)
- Trade Certificate (Desirable)

The successful candidate will have:
- Demonstrated experience in the Lamination Industry, with extensive gelcoat or chopper gun operation
- Excellent hand tool skills and machinery experience
- Demonstrated ability to communicate and work well within a team environment
- Demonstrated ability to work to strict deadlines and meet targets
- Flexibility to move within lamination areas and multi task
- Strong eye for detail with a focus on accuracy and quality first time
- Self-motivated, with a positive attitude, and pride in workmanship
Lamination: Open Moulding
- Reading and interpreting drawings
- Preparing moulds, including applying release agents.
- Gelcoat taping and assembling additional parts and preparing moulds
- Laminating fiberglass components to a lamination schedule (flybridges, hardtops, hulls, decks and small parts)
- Performing in-line inspections to minimise quality issues, gel coat imperfections, and air voids
- Installing structural materials such as wood, aluminum flat bar, foam and core mat,
- Handling hazardous chemicals such as catalyst, resin, gel coat and structural adhesives and maintaining the shed in a clean and tidy manner, including organizing tools and materials in order to avoid any safety issues.
Lamination: Closed Moulding
- Reading and interpreting drawings
- Mould care, prep, upkeep and repair activities
- Inspecting, cleaning and assembling moulds
- Laminating fiberglass components to a lamination schedule (flybridges, hardtops, and small parts)
- Packing pre-cut digital kitted composite fabrics into moulds
- Installing vacuums and feed lines, and apply vacuum bags
- De-moulding parts
- Performing in-line inspections to minimise quality issues, gel coat imperfections, and air voids
