Riviera’s Academy of Excellence was officially opened in January 2024 and was built to foster the growth of all our apprentices and trainees, providing world class vocational training.
Riviera’s Apprentice program commenced in the early 1990s and has since trained over 400 tradespeople. Our philosophy is that in order for Riviera to grow, we will always need to train the highest quality boat builders.
The vision of the academy is a world-class facility for world-class people. This is recognised by two “halls of fame” honouring Riviera’s past graduated apprentices who now hold key roles within the company and an impressive showcase of Riviera’s national and international awards of excellence.
Riviera’s onsite training apprenticeship program exceeds industry standards and teaches the latest industry technology and techniques. Our program is designed to “Train to Retain” and 90% of our apprentices come through the School Based apprenticeship program.
